Steps to Get Google AdSense Code

Are you ready to start monetizing your WordPress blog with Google AdSense but unsure where to begin?

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to generate and obtain your AdSense code, save it in a text file, and share it with your WordPress developer. Having your developer log in to your AdSense account can be challenging due to 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), so following this method is the quickest way to get ads on your site without any hassle.

  • Click on “Sign In” and enter your Google account credentials.

Accessing Your Ad Code

  • Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the AdSense dashboard.
  • Click on the “Ads” tab in the left-hand menu.
  • Click on “By ad unit” if you’re creating a new ad unit.
  • Click the “+ New ad unit” button.
  • Choose the type of ad you want to create (e.g., Display ads, In-feed ads, In-article ads).
  • Configure your ad settings (name, size, etc.), then click on “Save and get code”.

Copying the Ad Code

    • Choose a location to save the file (e.g., Desktop).
    • Enter a file name (e.g., adsense_code.txt).
    • Click “Save”.

Sending the Text File

  1. Locate the Saved File:
    • Go to the location where you saved the file (e.g., Desktop).
  2. Send the File in Fiverr Chat:
    • Open Fiverr and go to the chat with your web developer.
    • Use the file attachment option in the chat to upload and send the adsense_code.txt file.

Please follow these steps and then send the adsense_code.txt file to your web developer. This will ensure they have the necessary code to implement Google AdSense on your website.

This approach avoids the complications of 2FA and ensures that your site starts earning revenue as soon as possible. Once you’ve saved and shared the code, sit back and let your developer handle the rest, knowing that your WordPress site is on its way to being monetized efficiently.
